The PHöNIX Final Edition represents the final evolution of the iconic PHöNIX sound signature, combining its unmistakable emotional and natural presentation with a newly refined technical foundation.The Final Edition features a completely reworked acoustic design with a new crossover architecture, updated tuning, and four newly implemented low-frequency drivers. The result is a deeper and more controlled sub-bass response, improved spatial presentation, greater precision, and an even more natural overall sound signature — while fully preserving the musical and emotional character that defines the PHöNIX.In addition, the PHöNIX Final Edition introduces a completely redesigned visual appearance with a new gunmetal gray faceplate design beneath sapphire glass, as well as a newly developed premium custom cable specifically matched to the Final Edition tuning.

Sound

Lows: For the PHöNIX Final Edition, the low-frequency section has been refined with

four newly implemented balanced armature drivers featuring an advanced

diaphragm construction and a newly reworked tuning.

Through a specialized manufacturing process, the diaphragm achieves increased

structural rigidity and improved control over its movement behavior. As a result, the

driver achieves a significantly improved low-frequency extension, maintaining a

flatter and more linear response even below 30 Hz — a range where traditional

balanced armature designs typically exhibit roll-off. This contributes to a low-end

reproduction that combines enhanced sub-bass authority with exceptional precision

and control, forming a stable and well-defined foundation for the overall sound

signature.

Sub-bass reaches deeper, adding weight, extension, and authority to the

presentation, while the low mids and upper bass have been carefully rebalanced. The

result is a low-end response that feels more focused, more controlled, and more

precise – powerful in foundation, yet clean in its contour.

Mids: The midrange of the PHöNIX Final Edition remains true to the unmistakable

character of the original, preserving its vivid detail and remarkable naturalness.

With the newly refined low-frequency foundation, the mids now unfold with greater

openness and space, allowing voices and instruments to breathe more freely. The

result is a presentation that feels more spacious, more detailed, and even more

natural in its expression.

Mid-highs: The mid-highs of the PHöNIX Final Edition are powered by four BA

drivers, giving the upper range of the frequencies a lustrous and harmonic imaging.

The richness of details is breathtakingly uncompromising. The highs are unfolding

with a natural timbre, slightly sparkling and at all time not exaggerating.
